Sydney Underground vs. SubLime - de_inferno - 8:30pm AEST

.

Su are hot off the heals of an upset loss against SQL last night, and

so will be looking for revenge. Hopefully topguN will have remedied his

capped status by tonight to give his team a much needed fragging boost.

The SU General Manager surprised many people by not anchoring both

halves, with last night’s warm up we’ll see even more of the old Racs

we have seen in previous competitions. It is still unconfirmed if Tegs

will be playing tonight, but rumours abound that he will not make it

this evening.

.

Sublime surprised many by their dominance early in the CEVO season, but

it’s been almost all downhill since their LAN appearence at Gamerthon.

Since then the team has decided to finish out the season, even though

they are officially not an item anymore. A lot of respect from the

Striking the Scene crew to Sublime for playing out the season, and we

hope their relaxed demeanor carries them strongly through this match.

.

The loser of this match will be eliminated from the finals, so expect

this to be a fight until the bitter end, regardless of team standing.

There is still a substantial amount of money on the line this evening.

SU will be keen to take another shot at SQL, but Sublime have nothing

to lose, as they will be splitting up at the end of the season. A tough

match up in anyone’s eyes.

Zero Remorse vs. POWAH - de_dust2 - 9:30pm AEST

.

ZR are fresh off the back of a win against RCO; who had a 12 win hot streak from week 2 of this season. ZR who are known for their strength on Nuke, played an exceptionally strong CT side; enabling them to take out the match without too much issue. ZR had a few shaking steps during the season, but have stepped it up entering the finals.

.

POWAH are definitely a team to be wary of, defeating this season’s favourite 403 in an epic overtime match on Nuke. POWAH have gone from strength to strength this season, losing few matches and always in tight scores. However, they did lose to ZR for their final match of the season, but I expect them to bounce back hard, and show the finals field who to watch for.

.

Both these matches are going to be stellar examples of competition, as we move one step closer to the Grand Finals.
